1/4" (6.5mm) HSY7 Type Plastic Solenoid Valve with Vertical Bracket – RO Pure Water Machine

Upgrade your reverse osmosis (RO) water purification system with this reliable HSY7-type plastic solenoid valve. Designed for use as an inlet water valve or drain water valve, this pilot-operated valve is compatible with AC220V, DC12V, and DC24V power supplies and is available in both Normally Closed (NC) and Normally Open (NO) configurations — giving you full flexibility for your water control setup.

Made in Mainland China.

⚠️ Important Note: The AC220V version is a non-pressure type and may produce some noise and vibration during operation. Please ensure this meets your requirements before purchasing. Custom voltages (AC110V, AC24V, AC12V, DC6V) are available by contacting the merchant — these are not stocked as standard items.

Key Features

  • Dual Operating Modes: Available in NC (power on = water on) or NO (power on = water off) to suit your system design.
  • Pressure Type (Inlet Valve): Suitable for water pressure of 0.02–0.8 MPa; includes built-in filter.
  • Non-Pressure Type (Drain Valve): Suitable for water pressure of 0–0.01 MPa (up to 0.02 MPa); no filter included.
  • Adjustable Coil Angle: The coil can be rotated to 90°, 180°, 360°, or 720° relative to the valve body for easy installation.
  • Long Service Life: Rated for up to 500,000 switching cycles.
  • Excellent Watertight Performance: Leakage <0.1 ml/min at 0.02 MPa; virtually zero leakage at 0.03–0.8 MPa.
  • Safe for Purified & Drinking Water: Suitable for purified water and drinking water. Not suitable for acid, alkaline, thick, or viscous liquids.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the difference between the NC (Normally Closed) and NO (Normally Open) solenoid valve?

A: A Normally Closed (NC) solenoid valve is closed when no power is supplied and opens when power is applied — meaning water flows only when the valve is energized. A Normally Open (NO) solenoid valve works in reverse: it allows water to flow when unpowered and shuts off the flow when power is applied. Choose NC for standard inlet water control and NO for drain or shut-off applications in your RO system.

Q: Is this solenoid valve suitable for drinking water or RO purified water systems?

A: Yes. This HSY7 plastic solenoid valve is specifically designed for use with purified water and drinking water in RO (reverse osmosis) water purification machines. It is not suitable for use with acidic, alkaline, thick, or viscous liquids.

Q: What voltage options are available, and can I get a custom voltage?

A: Standard stock voltages available are AC220V, DC12V, and DC24V. Custom voltages including AC110V, AC24V, AC12V, and DC6V can be arranged — please contact the merchant directly to place a custom order.

Q: Why does the AC220V version make noise or vibrate during operation?

A: The AC220V version is a non-pressure type solenoid valve, which by design may produce some operational noise and vibration (jitter). This is a normal characteristic of this valve type at that voltage. If low noise operation is critical, consider the DC12V or DC24V versions instead.
