Natural Stone Reptile Food Dish – Turtle & Tortoise Rock Plate
Natural Stone Reptile Food Dish – Turtle & Tortoise Rock Plate
Details
Give your turtle, tortoise, or lizard the perfect feeding station with this Natural Stone Slab Food Dish. Crafted from genuine slabstone, this 10×10 cm plate serves triple duty — food bowl, water dish, and bathing tray — all in one stable, weighted design that won't tip over during feeding time.
The textured stone surface gently files your reptile's nails as they walk across it during meals, keeping claws naturally trimmed without any extra effort on your part. The porous, absorbent stone also retains light moisture, creating a subtly humid microenvironment that helps keep your pet hydrated and comfortable in their enclosure.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What reptiles is this natural stone food dish suitable for?
A: This reptile rock food dish is ideal for tortoises, turtles, lizards, geckos, and most other small-to-medium reptiles. Its flat, stable design and 10×10 cm size make it versatile enough for a wide range of species commonly kept as pets.
Q: How does the stone dish help with nail maintenance?
A: The dish is made from natural slabstone with a slightly textured surface. As your reptile walks across the plate to eat, drink, or bathe, the surface gently files their claws over time — reducing the need for manual trimming and keeping nails at a healthy, natural length.
Q: Is the stone dish safe to use as a water dish?
A: Yes. The porous, absorbent nature of the slabstone makes it perfectly safe for use as a water or bathing dish. The stone retains a small amount of moisture, which can also benefit the enclosure's ambient humidity. Simply rinse the dish regularly to keep it clean and hygienic.
Q: How do I clean this reptile rock food dish?
A: Rinse the dish under warm running water and scrub lightly with a soft brush if needed. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, as the porous stone can absorb them. Allow to air dry completely before placing back in the enclosure.
