While the electrical specifications (30A / 5V 2A BEC) may technically be compatible with other models, we recommend using it only with the intended ZOHD Altus 980mm for a guaranteed fit and optimal performance.

Q: Does the ESC include a battery or receiver?

A: No, this listing includes only the ESC unit itself. No battery, receiver, or charger is included. The integrated 5V 2A BEC means you do not need a separate receiver battery — the ESC powers your receiver and servos directly from the main flight pack.

Q: What does "BEC" mean and why does it matter?

A: BEC stands for Battery Eliminator Circuit. It is a built-in voltage regulator within the ESC that steps down the main flight battery voltage (e.g., 2S–3S LiPo) to a stable 5V output, which safely powers your RC receiver and servos. This eliminates the need for a separate receiver battery pack, reducing overall system weight and wiring complexity.

Q: Is this product suitable for beginners?

A: This is a replacement spare part intended for hobbyists aged 14 and older who are already familiar with their ZOHD Altus 980mm RC airplane.
